I have been hand-building pottery off and on for over forty years and I’m still learning. I coil and slab build using stoneware and earthenware in our studio, mostly functional pieces such as lasagne dishes, bowls and large platters, but also some non-functional vessels. These are fired in the studio in our electric kiln.
